BIOGRAPHY

Author’s Biography. Diane Dean-Epps graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a major in Communication Studies (Broadcasting concentration) and a minor in Business Administration, pursuing an unfinished, as of yet, dance minor along the way. She has also wended her way to a Master of Arts in English with an emphasis on Multicultural Literature.  After a diverse and scintillating ten-year journey in television broadcasting, Dean-Epps returned to school, earning teaching credentials in English and Multimedia Production, which led to her inspiring career as a high school teacher. She lives and works in Nevada County, bonding with her musician husband, two children and multitude of adopted four-legged furry children every chance she gets. She has three published books to date: Maternal Meanderings (Humor), Last Call (Humorous Mystery), and KILL-TV (Humorous Mystery), with I'll Always Be There…Unless I‘m Somewhere Else?! (Humor), on the publishing horizon. Her numerous essays have appeared in a variety of publications, including The San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento magazine, The Union, and The Contra Costa Times.
