Author’s Biography

Diane Dean-Epps graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a major in Communication Studies-Broadcasting and a minor in Business Administration, pursuing an unfinished dance minor along the way. After a diverse and scintillating ten-year career in television broadcasting she returned to school to earn her secondary teaching credential in English/Language Arts and she has been teaching high school ever since. She lives and works in Nevada County, bonding with her musician husband, two children and multitude of adopted four-legged furry children every chance she gets. She has two published books to date: Maternal Meanderings (Humor) and Last Call (Humorous Mystery), although her next two books, KILL-TV and I‘ll Always Be There…Unless I‘m Somewhere Else?! are on the publishing horizon. Her numerous essays have appeared in a variety of publications, including The San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento magazine and The Contra Costa Times.
